What is a cookie?

• Strictly necessary — session. When you sign in to a member account, we set a session cookie so the site recognises you on subsequent page loads. The cookie is HttpOnly, sent only to this domain, and removed when you sign out.
• Strictly necessary — CSRF protection. A small random token in a cookie protects form submissions against cross-site request forgery. It is set on first visit and refreshed periodically.
• Strictly necessary — sign-in flows. While a third-party sign-in (e.g. "Continue with Google") is in flight, short-lived cookies hold the OAuth state and PKCE verifier. They are deleted automatically after the flow completes.
• Functional preferences. Your chosen language and theme (light/dark) are stored in cookies so the site remembers them between visits.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of our own. If you click a link to a third-party service, that service's own cookies and privacy policy apply.
